Content marked CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) is only allowed on APAN communities approved for CUI content by the APAN Technical Director. Those communities have a green banner marking the approval on each community page.
Some categories of CUI are unallowed on APAN. Please see the APAN CUI SOP at this link ( https://community.apan.org/support/m/info/262862 ) for a list of those categories of CUI allowed and disallowed on APAN.
Please make a special note: some categories of CUI that are not allowed on APAN, such as NATO Unclassified, may seem harmless to upload to APAN. Uploading them violates the APAN CUI policy even if your community is approved for CUI content.
Starting April 1, 2024, the APAN Team will conduct an APAN-wide review of unauthorized CUI content and delete all files that violate the APAN CUI SOP without prior notice. Please review your content and remove any files not allowed per APAN CUI SOP.
