Telligent has easy-to-read layouts with the list of conversations in the left pane of the page and conversation detail on the right. The conversation list and the list of messages both have endless scrolling to make it easy to find the desired conversation.
Members receive real-time private message notifications in the navigation bar "Notifications" or in Live Alerts without needing to refresh the screen.
Another notification method for private messages is a Live Alert. This is a small, temporary pop-up appearing in the browser window. Mousing over the alert keeps it visible until it's closed. Otherwise, it disappears after five seconds.
Members can configure whether to receive private message notifications or Live Alerts in their Settings > Notifications tab.

When you click View all in the message list or click a Live Alert, the Inbox appears. The conversations are listed with the newest first.
When you click New or Reply, the enhanced text editor opens for you to create a new conversation or compose a reply.
