Split Forum Thread

[toc]

When you think a forum reply is off-topic, you can split it off as its own thread. In release 9.0, you can only split a thread from the front user interface.

  1. Navigate to the post.
  2. Click More underneath the response you want to split off. A drop-down list of options appears.
  3. Click Split. The split thread window appears.
  4. If desired, you can enter a new subject in the Subject field.
  5. Choose the group and forum where you want the new thread to reside.
  6. Click Split Thread. The new thread appears in the forum you selected.
