It is my pleasure to invite you to the AFOSR/NIH/CNR Technical Exchange Meeting on 25-27 August 2014. This event will take place in the AFOSR Basic Research and Innovation Collaborative Center at 4705 Wilson Blvd, Suite 350, Arlington, VA 22203.The Technical Exchange is an action item of both the 2013 AFOSR/Italy technical Exchange and the bilateral US-Italy Joint Commission on Science & Technology. The purpose of this effort is to explore basic research collaborations in the areas of electromagnetics, organic materials chemistry, ultrashort pulse laser-matter interactions, structural mechanics and human performance. Participants include scientists/engineers from the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, National Institutes of Health, National Research Council of Italy, Army Research Laboratory, Naval Research Laboratory, and National Science Foundation.
