About the Conference
ICICLE’s Learning Engineering conference has a singular focus but with many facets. It’s designed for attendees from different backgrounds, including applied and scholarly learning engineers, university students studying the discipline, and anyone curious about professional topics in learning engineering. Similarly, it’s appropriate for practitioners, scholars, or students of learning science, learning technology, learning analytics and visualizations, human-centered design, organizational learning, psychometrics and learning measures, data instrumentation and interoperable standards, and related fields of training, education, and performance support.
The main conference will include a mix of expert-led presentations, interactive sessions, and technology showcase sessions. Beyond the agenda, there’s time for mingling.
Early pricing ends May 31. All registration ends when we reach 195 total registrations.
Active Learning Sessions: In these 60 minute sessions, speakers will present on a topic and lead the attendees in a related participatory activity.
Show and Share Sessions: These succinct 10 minute presentations will showcase specific attendee projects and how they connect to the learning engineering process (LEP) and LE Toolkit.
Technology Showcases. The showcases are 20 minute presentations to show how educational technologies and projects connects to the learning engineering process, to what we know about supporting learners both as learners and as humans, and/ or using tools from the LE Toolkit.
All accepted proposals will be compiled into a proceedings web page. Participants will be contacted about their contributions after the conference.
The IEEE ICICLE 2023 conference is pleased to offer a Vendor Exhibit where corporate and industry partners can showcase an educational technology in support of learning engineering. Six sponsored tables are available and will be hosted in the hall outside the main conference room and will be available to the sponsored vendor for the duration of the conference.
