Responsibilities
The RD IG Office is responsible for advising the Commander on the overall welfare and state of discipline of the Command; providing a continuous assessment on the Command’s operational and administrative effectiveness. The IG monitors the effectiveness of teaching and training, inspections and investigations, and assistance within the Command.
Functions
a. Provide impartial, objective, and unbiased advice and oversight to Human Resources Command through relevant, timely, and thorough inspections, assistance, investigations, and training. Promote and enable stewardship, accountability, integrity, efficiency, and good order and discipline to enhance the readiness of the command and the USAR.
b. Advise the Commander on the overall welfare and state of discipline of the Command; providing a continuous assessment on the Command’s operational and administrative effectiveness. The IG monitors the effectiveness of teaching and training, inspections and investigations, and assistance within the Command.
