Abstract:
NATO’s Corner: Russia’s Strategic Perspective on the Southwestern Flank of the Black Sea - Though considerable attention has been given to the Russian-Ukraine conflict, tumultuous Russo-Turkish relations, and the Caucasus, the southwestern flank of the Black Sea are far less examined despite its importance. This study aims to fill the gap in the scholarship and analysis of this increasingly important geopolitical theater by examining Russia's perspective on Romania and Bulgaria.
