Reporting Procedures:
All students are to report to the Leavenworth area the day prior to start date of their class to check in to their respective hotels. The airport is located approximately 18.5 miles from Fort Leavenworth, so a rental car is strongly advised. There is one hotel on base, Hoge Barracks, which is approximately 1.5 miles from the school house, and several others right off post which are within a 5 mile radius (see hotel list to the right). There is no requirement from the school house on where you decide to reside while attending the course.
Students are to report to the school house no earlier than 0800 and NLT 0830, on the first day of class, for in-processing. Please, report to the glass breezeway entrance between buildings 466 and 467, located within the Old Disciplinary Barracks Compound (see map to Breezeway).
The university is located within a secure facility which requires security badges to gain access. Upon your arrival, one of our staff will be located at the double doors of the breezeway to greet you and issue you a building access badge.
School house address:
803 Harrison Drive
Fort Leavenworth, KS 66027
In-processing Procedures:
During in-processing, you will need your ID/Common Access Card and your most current APFT and H/W (for Military Personnel ONLY).
Daily Attire:
ALL students are encouraged to wear business casual to in-processing and throughout the course; please plan accordingly. There is a purpose for this, and the facilitator will address the reason behind not wearing duty uniforms every day. Though, all active military personnel are strongly advised to bring at least one set of Multi-Cams, Utilities, or what-ever your normal duty uniform is. There is no need for dress uniforms during our program.
APAN LOGIN:
If you have not done so, please create an APAN login (click join or sign in icon on top row of this page) and have access to it during the course.
Read Ahead Material:
If there is read ahead material for the first day, your instructor will send an email out prior to day one.
Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns.
