Asia-Pacific Regional Guidelines for the Use of Foreign Military Assets in Natural Disaster Response Operations (21 Feb 2014) . These Guidelines are a reference guide for Member States in order to establish the basic framework for an effective and efficient use of foreign military assets in support of an Affected State in the Asia-Pacific region. Designed to help disaster managers in national Governments gain basic knowledge of how to use international tools and services. The guide is not prescriptive. It aims to support the growing disaster response and disaster response preparedness capabilities that exist at national level across Asia and the Pacific.
