Introduction

The K. Mark Takai Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC) is state-of-the-art facility and capability for the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) that synchronizes and leverages planning, collaboration, technology, and knowledge management to enhance exercises, training, crisis support, and security cooperation throughout Pacific Theater.

The PWC is equipped with the infrastructure and resources needed to properly train and prepare its forces for managing crisis situations throughout the region. The two-story building facilitates a secure environment for joint/combined force commanders and their staffs to train for scenarios that can be live, virtual, or networked.

Located on the southwest corner of Ford Island, the PWC sits within the boundaries of the Ford Island Historic Management Zone / Aviation Facilities Sub-Area, which is part of the Pearl Harbor National Historic Landmark.
