The K. Mark Takai - Pacific Warfighting Center (KMT-PWC) is state-of-the-art facility and capability for the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) that synchronizes and leverages planning, collaboration, technology, and knowledge management to enhance exercises, training, crisis support, and security cooperation throughout Indo-Pacific Theater.
The KMT-PWC is equipped with the infrastructure and resources needed to properly train and prepare its forces for managing crisis situations throughout the region. The two-story building facilitates a secure environment for joint/combined force commanders and their staffs to train for scenarios that can be live, virtual, or networked.
Located on the southwest corner of Ford Island, the KMT-PWC sits within the boundaries of the Ford Island Historic Management Zone / Aviation Facilities Sub-Area, which is part of the Pearl Harbor National Historic Landmark.
