AFIC Air Standards (AIR STDs) are formally ratified arrangements between AFIC member nations to standardize specific military doctrine, procedures and/or materiel to enhance their ability to conduct joint and combined operations. Whilst not binding in international law, hence not being considered Agreements in the legal sense, AIR STDs, when ratified, imply an intent to implement the AIR STD in national documentation.
