A network of social science theories (yellow nodes) connected via shared theoretical concepts that help explain mob (blue) and mobber (gray) dynamics. This multidisciplinary and theoretically grounded approach is necessary as online social networks (networks of connected individuals) are playing an increasingly vital role in mob coordination. These theoretical concepts and live social media data will be used to develop and validate computational models of agent-based simulation to better understand the mob phenomenon. The logo of the AFRL inspired the choice of colors used in this network.
