Ankita Akanksha, Rutgers University | Just Add Rhodamine

This art was produced from a fluorescent microscope while analyzing how a microneedle array is inserted into an agar gel. These microneedle arrays were coated with vaccine material and rhodamine, which is a fluorescent red dye. The left image shows the needle array insertion through a black and white filter, while the right image shows the same needle array with a red filter, fully showcasing the vibrant red fluorescent material on the needles.
