Art of Science Showcase Toolkit

Toolkit Instructions

2022 marks seventy years of basic research innovation supported by the Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL) Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR). From GPS and the computer mouse to Nobel Award winning lithium batteries, AFOSR has been at the forefront of basic research that has led to incredible contributions in science and technology for the Department of the Air Force and the Nation.

To honor AFRL and AFOSR's 70 years of research innovation and to educate people around the world about the importance of basic research, we invite you to be part of our inaugural Basic Research Art of Science Showcase by submitting your inspired art. Our goal is that your submission will reveal the beauty behind many of the basic research inspired innovations past, present and future that continue to support the United States Air Force and Space Force.

AFOSR grantees, educators, students and members of the art and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) community are invited to submit artwork, images and renderings in the showcase. We’ve created a partnership toolkit to help you spread the word with communities within your organization via social media, email and online. Leverage all or some of the text and sample social posts to update your students and membership.

If you or your organization is interested in collaborating with AFOSR or would like to learn more about our resources and training programs, please email us or sign up to receive updates. To make sure you have the latest on the Art of Science and AFOSR, make sure to follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
