  1. How is CFBLNet funded?

Every nation and organisation funds its own Part. The user funds it depending upon the nation they represent. For European countries and organisations a fee at national level is charged on an annual basis for the use of the network. Other countries cover their costs for staff for attendance at required meetings either by telecon or physical attendance.

  1. How is an initiative funded?

Initiatives are funded by the relevant participants through national organisation service models.

  1. What kind of network is CFBLNet.

Is a federated network not owned by US, CCEB, or NATO. But through federation of the sovereign mission partners.

  1. What can we use CFBLNet for ?

Trials test evaluation exercises experimentation as long as it is not operational.

  1. If I have internet/broadband why do I need CFBLNet, (is your information public ?)

To insure data, confidentially integrity, availability and protection of an initiative.

  1. How can I get a connection

Approach your national CFBLNet Country Lead Representative  (CLR)

  1. Who is part of the CFBLNet

38 mission partners, national / organisations including defence, industry and academia (sponsored by relevant national defence organisations)

  1. What are the benefits of CFBLNet

A community sharing principles and practises to enable an assured test, trialling and experimental network. It is well suited for risk reduction in a flexible, robust, reliable and secure environment.

  1. Who are the current customers?

Depends on the requirements and stakeholders relating to your country or nation.

  1. I am a potential Guest Mission Partner (GMP) that wishes to participate in an initiative(s) or connect to the CFBLNet from my own country how do I go about this?

The CFBLNet Charter welcomes potential GMPs to

participate in Initiatives from Core Mission Partners (CMP) sites and/or their own soil.

You need to approach a CMP that may wish to sponsor you

and guide you through the process. This will include GMP Site

nominations and the security procedures for enabling GMP

participation.
