A Chemical company we are working with is looking for shipboard mechanical, electrical and electronic types (MM, EM, ET, EN, GSE, GSM, FC, FT) for key roles they are trying to fill. Video interviews will take place on Fri 3/22 and Mon 3/25. Position details below.
Position 1: Shift Utility Mechanic
Description: Will perform maintenance of plant equipment and facilities to include routine and preventative maintenance on pumps, reactors and utilities. Will disassemble, repair and rebuild pumps and other mechanical equipment including replacing seals. Will respond to maintenance requests, prioritize tasks as needed and perform immediate repairs on equipment to keep production flow. Will also recommend further action such as replacement parts, etc. and perform other routine maintenance as required.
Compensation: $30-$40/hr + OT
Shift: Rotating
Position 2: Instrument Technician
Description: Will work on instrumentation systems to support DCS controls installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and upgrading process control equipment from the distributive control system to the valves. Will calibrate instruments and use many different instruments to measure temperature, level, pressure and flow. Will also install and maintain electrical and pneumatic systems.
Compensation: $30-$45/hr + OT
Shift: Days
