NUCLEAR MECHANICAL INSPECTOR (SHIPS) SUPERVISOR I

You will serve as a NUCLEAR MECHANICAL INSPECTOR (SHIPS) SUPERVISOR I in the Nuclear Inspection Division (Code 139 - Technical Receipt Inspection Branch) at PSNS and IMF.

Duties

• You will supervise FWS inspection programs with direct responsibility for supervising inspectors of mechanical, piping and structural systems on nuclear reactor plant systems to accomplish the inspection function.
• You will ensure the quality of work with respect to inspections and testing under assigned cognizance.
• You will be responsible for assuring the efficient and economical accomplishment of work assigned within the parameters established by the projects and the Nuclear Inspection Division management.
• You will ensure pre-use inspection and verification of markings for reactor plant materials are carried out, ensuring proper material control and marking is maintained on assigned work.
• You will coordinate priorities and deadlines with numerous project and production personnel to maximize efficient use of personnel while meeting the Shipyard’s needs
