Summary

You will serve as a WORK INTEGRATION MANAGER in the WEAPONS REPAIR DEPARTMENT of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

Duties

  • You will integrate the work authorized for the Lead Maintenance Activity, ship's force, and other maintenance providers for each refit by ensuring the sequencing and scheduling of work supports the Trident Refit Facility Availability team's strategy.
  • You will coordinate with exterior entities; Commander Submarine Pacific (COMSUBPAC), Submarine Readiness Squadron 31 (SRS), Squadrons 17 and 19 (SQDN), Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) at management level.
  • You will monitor Alteration Installation Team (AIT) work in execution onboard submarines in refit to ensure compliance with approved alteration instructions and applicable installation standards.
  • You will coordinate the development and maintenance of Gantt charts and other schedules with the Alteration Installation Team (AIT) including applicable Key Events.
  • You will be the primary point of contact for senior Alteration Installation Team (AIT) program managers (NAVSEA, SSP, NUWC, etc...) for submission and negotiation of Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs).
  • You will manage a team of Work Integration Leaders (WIL) at the GS-1101-12 level and two Chief Petty Officers.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating work authorizations to ensure trade production projects are completed timely and comply with all stated requirements.
