This week we have started to roll out new changes to the four applications within VERINT. These changes concern the Geo Tagging ability when making a posts to the Blog, Forum, and Media Gallery applications as well as when adding a page to a Wiki. The new map is not readily visible right away as we are still working out any bugs that may be in the software and the baseline Google Maps version is still available. If you would like to take part in the shake out of the new API respond to this post or submit a ticket to the help desk referencing this and we can switch on the ESRI version. NOTE: If your organization is blocking WebGL in Chrome, please utilize Edge, FireFox or Internet Explorer (in that order), if it still doesn't show contact your local Help/Service Desk and let them know to enable WebGL.
An example of the new ESRI API is below . Again this does not have to do with the Community Maps feature as found in the Maps page of a Community. That change will happen within the next year as we revamp our software and either do away with Community Maps or change it over to the ESRI API. A poll is below for voting on whether we should keep or move our Community Maps to our full blown ArcGIS Enterprise (https://map.apan.org).
The Map as seen below works when geographic references are made within the applications such as when Honolulu, HI is listed. Below you will see the pin on Oahu, HI.
