I invented a system that involves repurposing scrap SUV auto bodies (or other body structures) into temporary refuge shelters. These shelters are to be NO-COST to the recipient/organization, due to patriotic donors and a nationwide network of fabrication and logistics sponsors.
The vision is for shelters to be used by homeless veterans, the Red Cross, etc. Some vocational colleges/businesses have expressed interest in converting one shelter per semester/quarter as part of a pilot curriculum that keeps their skills warm. However, more researchers/donors/sponsors are still needed.
