The Innovators’ Showcase is one of INSA’s most unique and compelling opportunities for direct engagement with the public sector. It truly is a showcase: allowing our members to demonstrate their new processes, algorithms, and capabilities before the scientists, technologists, and engineers responsible for ensuring that the Intelligence Community’s capabilities provide a decisive advantage. The reviewers include Dr. David Honey, Director of Science and Technology for the ODNI, and up to 75 additional government personnel from the S&T community across more than a dozen IC and defense agencies.
The call for abstracts to present at the Innovators’ Showcase went out last month. I highly encourage you to submit an abstract if your organization has a capability in development that does not yet have a government sponsor or customer. If you believe the capability has a broader applicability than its current customer and the government counterpart consents, we also encourage you to submit an abstract.
INSA prides itself on providing a highly substantive forum; in 2015 our government reviewers cumulatively graded the content of presentations as 4.3/5.0. If your technical team could benefit from feedback on their hypotheses, progress to date, or scope, the government reviewers are an audience they will want to hear from. This is a terrific opportunity for your team to gain in-depth, highly technical guidance and help better position the project for application.
We hope your organization is able to take advantage of this tremendous membership benefit and submit an abstract by Thursday, April 21. Learn more about the Showcase and abstract guidelines at INSAonline.org/innovators, or email showcase@insaonline.org.
