Please see our updated Potential Game Changers handout, addressing the impact of potentially disruptive technologies. Understanding their individual and convergent impacts is essential to continued battlefield dominance in the Future Operational Environment.
Great stuff! Thanks.
I can see that the cyber security industry is not prepared to address the challenges that new technologies like these will present. Very interesting document.

The ability for several drones to operate together without a central control system would improve swarming performance under harsh conditions, such as extreme weather and contested radio frequencies. Unmanned systems with the ability to collectively create strategies to locate and interact with targets without operator intervention is a big step in autonomous unmanned operations. I figured about ten years out now I am thinking seven to eight.
