TAR Janaale al-Shabaab Attack Dec15

PURPOSE:

• To inform the Army training community of the attack by al-Shabaab on Ugandan soldiers stationed in Janaale, Somalia, as part of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM).
• To report on the increased size of recent attacks by al-Shabaab against targets in Somalia.
• To demonstrate the connectivity among the tactics, threat doctrine, and conditions present in other training materials such as the Training Circular (TC) 7-100 series.
