AE Teammates,

I wanted to make you aware of something on this site that you might not have noticed. While we have our own private group for AFRICA ENDEAVOR, there are many other groups that share this platform. I encourage you to browse around and look for groups you are interested in or want to join. For example, there are groups in APCN that you might find interesting because of how they relate to AFRICA ENDEAVOR. You can see a complete list of APCN groups here - http://community.apan.org/apcn/default.aspx

You can also go to the main APAN (All Partners Access Network) page (http://community.apan.org) and browse or search for groups. For example, did you know that there is a sister exercise to AFRICA ENDEAVOR called PACIFIC ENDEAVOR? This focuses on countries in the Pacific Rim region. I'm sure it's easy to imagine how lessons learned could be shared between African countries and countries in the Pacific region. Think about it: challenges with communications infrastructure, vast distances between cities, many different cultures and languages. You can find the site here, and I'd encourage you to request access. Just state that you are part of AFRICA ENDEAVOR and you are curious to learn about PACIFIC ENDEAVOR. - http://community.apan.org/apan-info/pe/default.aspx

That's the great thing about a truly global platform like APAN. We can find experts and information from all over the planet. Please take the time to help your friends and colleagues in your respective countries sign up for an account on APAN. We're trying to build as robust a community as possible, and this platform truly is something that we all collectively own.

I hope you had a great conference in Rwanda. If all goes as planned I will see you all at the exercise.

Best Regards,

Jordan Pritchard
