A note of encouragement regarding the use of the APAN site.

This site is a one stop shop at any time to communicate with the exercise staff, the Technical Working Group members, Delegation Chiefs, or any other individuals within the exercise. There are no restrictions or limitations on using the group. As Jordan P. within Knowledge Management said Remember, one of the key parts of AFRICA ENDEAVOR has nothing to do with technology - it's the human interoperability portion. Individuals from many different countries improving the way we all interact, collaborate, and work together. This site is a key extension of that.

I have had many questions from previous events about the reasons to use this site.  This can be seen as a learning platform (based on materials shared) it can also be used to inform people about what is happening in your country. Sometimes when big events happen we worry about our colleagues and would like to know how you are doing and your thoughts on the recent developments, technology, culture...you name it, it can be discussed here.

Ms. Lara Couthino of APAN is going to be with us at the FPC in Ghana and at the exercise as well and is dedicated to helping everyone learn the intricacies of the APAN and provide the extra level of training needed to really use the site as a collaboration tool.
