Silicon photonic crystal modulator: Miniaturized photonic instruments are critical for future communication and remote sensings. Sponsored by Dr. Pomrenke and NASA, we sent such AIM manufactured photonic integrated circuits for test on low earth orbit. We are characterizing their morphology after flight.
