Dilution Refrigerator at Night: This photo was a fortuitous accident. It shows the diagnostic readouts of our dilution refrigerator at night after lights out. It was originally intended as a quick, mundane snapshot of the current temperatures and pressures after finishing measurements on our superconducting qubits, but autoexposure settings caused multiple exposures on the same image as the camera was pulled away, capturing this brilliant pattern of lights and readouts streaking off to infinity.
