Spiral Galaxy M-74 Research: Hubble Space Telescope images inspired me to shift my artwork subject matter toward astronomy. I previously was adhering rainbow hologram films to hammered aluminum panels, but recently shifted to hot pressing Mylar holographic film to become bas-relief artworks. In addition, I am now experimenting with hot pressing 3M Dichroic films for Public Art commissions. I previously submitted an application for Spiral Galaxy M-74. This application is an addendum, as experiments proceed. How might the development of nano-structure films aid in camouflage, or heads up instrument displays?
