2018 Joint AFOSR High-Speed Aerodynamics and ONR Hypersonics Programs Annual Review

The 2018 Joint AFOSR High-Speed Aerodynamics and ONR Hypersonics Programs Annual Review will be held July 16-19 and July 30 - August 2, 2018 at the BRICC in Arlington, VA.  The address for the new location of the Basic Research Innovation and Collaboration Center (BRICC) is 4100 North Fairfax Drive, Suite 450, Arlington, VA  22203.

The format is different this year as each PI will individually brief a small group of SMEs (between 15 to 20 people) from government to industry on their past and current accomplishments as well as future research plans.

There will be a total of approximately 75 talks covering the following topic areas:

1) Shock-wave/Boundary-Layer Interaction (SBLI) (13 talks)
2) Boundary Layer Transition (24 talks)
3) Compressible Turbulent Flows (TF) (6 talks)
4) Flow-Structure Interaction (FSI) (8 talks)
5) Diagnostics, Facilities and Instrumentation (DFI) (6 talks)
6) Non-Equilibrium Effects (NEE) (9 talks)
7) Ablation (4 talks)
8) Hypersonic Materials (3 talks)

We would like to invite members of industry who are SMEs in the above areas to be part of the review panels.

Please contact aerothermodynamics@us.af.mil no later than July 2nd if you are interested.
