Internal data refers to geotagged content that is posted within your community. When geotagged, geospatial data is added to the map for each Media Gallery, Forum, Wiki, and Blog.
Future iterations of the Community Map App will include the ability to search the Esri Publicly Available ArcGIS Online information as well as Portal for ArcGIS on APAN*.
