Beginning 01 April 2024

The All Partners Access Network (APAN) will conduct a review of all communities (Verint groups and SharePoint sites) beginning Monday, 01 April 2024 until the end of the year to ensure compliance with its Retention and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) policies. Communities or content not in compliance with these policies will be permanently deleted from APAN.

What will be deleted during this APAN Review?

The APAN Team will delete communities and content if it meets the following criteria. Prior notice will not be provided to community owners and/or users.

  • ALL inactive communities

  • ALL unauthorized content:
    • CUI content without written approval from the APAN Technical Director and the APAN Capability Lead
    • CUI Categories NOT permitted on APAN

What should APAN Community Owners do?

To maintain active APAN communities, owners are encouraged to:

  • Engage members by sharing relevant content (files, posts, updates) within the community.

  • Audit the community regularly (e.g., monthly, quarterly, annually).

  • Archive old content (files, posts, etc.) to an external system.

Once a community is no longer operationally relevant or needed, contact the APAN Help Desk to delete it.

Once an inactive community is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
