What DoD assets are available in Japan to be shared with NGO's and how do they make contact. Transportation and fuel are #1 need as well as regular, trusted assessments of the Nuclear situation for orgs that are assessing thier teams safty. Word is a 50 mile radius is recommend. Other groups are asking for protective gear and personal alert systems
Does anyone have the contact to the DART team on the ground in Japan?
Jasmine,
APAN should be accesible from any internet connection and usually performs much better from a non-NIPR connection. From your home computer, go to community.apan.org/.../japan_earthquake and sign in using your APAN username and password. Our hotline is currently being manned 24/7 so if you need assistance, please contact our Support Hotline (808)472-7841.
I can't seem to access the APAN portal unless I'm on NMCI. Is there a way to access APAN from home?

Yokosuka, JA is mostly normal. There are scheduled rolling blackouts; limit on gasoline purchases on Yokosuka Naval Base; there is some food hoarding taking place at local grocery stores - especially breads, etc. Trains are subject to scheduled stoppages, etc. Pray for those in northern Japan.
