Hello APAN Users,

We are pleased to announce that the Verint upgrade launched this past weekend was a success! As with any upgrade, you will notice a few visual differences, new features, and of course, a few bugs.

Here's what you need to know:

New Features:

  • Support for 48 new languages, bringing the total to 75
  • Tour tips
  • Membership access requests, invitations, and member approvals
  • Ability to update your DisplayName
  • Option to add a cover photo to user profiles
  • "Theme options" for easier styling
  • "Navigation" widget with dropdown menus
  • Avatars

Changes Requiring Community Owners to Submit a Ticket:

  • Custom banner links: If your group has custom links, you should have saved them according to the instructions provided. If you missed this step and your links are missing, please submit a ticket.
  • Unfiltered HTML Widget code changes: This may affect some user layouts. If you used the Unfiltered HTML Widget and encounter display problems, please submit a ticket.
  • Custom Code in the “RAW HTML Header” of the “Edit This Theme” menu: Submit a ticket to request a custom theme specific to your group.

Known Issues (No Ticket Required):

  • The right side panel of the community page with the logo is not rendering properly
  • APAN logo is missing when users reach the Verint community page 

Enforced Limits:

  • The 100 MB file size limit is now being strictly enforced

Daily training sessions will continue at APAN University from 1200 – 1300 US ET throughout the week.
