The 2013 AFOSR Taiwan Nanoscience Workshop will be held August 20-22, 2013 at The New Sanno, U.S. Naval Joint Services Activity, Unit 45003, APO AP 96337-5003 in Tokyo, Japan.

A block of single rooms have been reserved for the nights of 19, 20, and 21 Aug 2013 at a cost of $75.00 USD/night. Rooms are not available earlier than 19 Aug 2013 and guests must check out on 22 Aug 2013. Please fill out the attendance roster and annotate in the “additional information” block if you have a different schedule (arriving later, leaving early). Please annotate if you will have more than 1 in your room (ie, bringing family, etc).
Credit cards are accepted (debit cards are not). All charges will be billed in US dollars.
As a guest, you will be allowed unescorted entry and exit so long as you are on the security list. Filling out the attendance roster will put you on the security list. Guests traveling on a Taiwanese passport will need to provide a color copy (scan is acceptable) of your passport. US passport holders do not need to provide the copy, but will have to fill out the attendance roster.
On initial check in, you will receive a guest pass which is required when you re‐enter. Your passport will only be required upon first entry. All hotel facilities (ATM, gift shops, restaurants, pool, laundry, dry cleaning, etc) will be will be available for your use except for the Navy Exchange.

Car traffic is unpredictable in Japan, so please ensure that you leave enough time in to for return flights if using the airport shuttles.
