You are invited to attend the 2016 10th MACCCR Annual Fuel and Combustion Research Review to be held October 17-20, 2016 at the Argonne National Laboratory, Chicago, Illinois. The Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) is located 9700 Cass Ave, Lemont, IL 60439.
Agenda Summary: MACCCR Fuel and Combustion Research Review is a national, annual government review meeting covering a wide range of efforts in fuel and combustion research, supported by multiple federal agencies that have significant combustion and fuel interests. The reviewed efforts are selected jointly by MACCCR members to highlight achievements from these programs. Other presentations are invited to provide scientific background and state-summary of key fuel and combustion research areas, helping fostering innovative research ideas and establishing new research directions. In this year, in additional to a broad range of efforts from multiple agencies, the meeting highlights efforts on ab. initio pathway-centric combustion chemistry, high-pressure fuel properties and low temperature combustion chemistry, with a special two-part workshop focusing on developing innovative approaches to control and utilize highly nonlinear and strongly molecule dependent low temperature behaviors of real fuels.
