2017 AFOSR Mid-Atlantic Student Research Day

You are cordially invited to attend the AFOSR Mid-Atlantic Student Research Day scheduled for Friday, September 29th, 2017 at the Basic Research Collaboration Center at 4075 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA. This one-day event will showcase the cutting-edge research performed by top graduate students in AFOSR-supported research laboratories from the Mid-Atlantic region (Washington D.C., Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Virginia). Technical presentations will cover topics ranging from Plasma Physics and Optoelectronics to Energy Combustion and Aerospace Materials for Extreme Environments, as well as dozens of topics in between.

AFOSR invites the local scientific community to attend the event to learn more about AFOSR’s basic research portfolio and to meet the future scientists in these exciting research areas.

Directions to the BRICC The BRICC is located at 4075 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 350, Arlington, VA 22203.

From the Metro: The closest stop is Ballston MU on the orange line which is just a few blocks west and a short walk.

  • Head west on Fairfax Drive toward N Stuart St, turn left onto N Stuart St, and then turns left onto Wilson Blvd.
  • Our building, Two Liberty Center, will be on the corner on the left.
  • Once you are in the building, take the elevator to the third floor, Suite 350.
