Objective:The objective of this portfolio is to develop fundamental understanding of key multi-physics and multi-scale phenomena in conversion of chemical energy to mechanical energy for propulsion applications of interests to the Air Force. The research focus is on identification and quantification of rate-controlling processes and scales in the key phenomena in energy conversion processes.
