How do I add points, text, lines, polygons and other shapes?

Points, lines, text and polygons can be added under the Sketch Widget located on the left side of the map.

 Points and Text

• Click the point icon on the Sketch Widget.
  • 
• Drop it on the desired location in your map.
• Click the collapse icon for the Sketch Widget.
  • 
• To edit your point info, click on your point and then the edit options in the pop-up.
  • 
• If you wish to change your point to text, click the label checkbox and add your text in the "Title" box above.
  • 
• Color and transparency can be adjusted below the Label checkbox.
  • 
• Close the pop-up once completed.
• Click the Update Map button to save your work

Lines

• Click the line icon in the Sketch Widget.
  • 
• Click where you want the line to appear with one left-mouse click. Draw the line on the map.
• When you are finished drawing your line double click.
• To edit the line description, color, and transparency, collapse the Sketch Widget and click your line.

• A pop-up will appear with options available for editing. Displaying labels are unavailable currently.
  • 
• Close the pop-up once completed.
• Click the Update Map button to save your work

Polygons

• Click the polygon icon on the Sketch Widget.
  • 
• Click where you want the polygon line to appear with one left-mouse click. Draw the lines to create the polygon.
• To finish drawing your polygon, double click.
• To edit the polygon description, color fill and transparency, collapse the Sketch Widget and click your polygon.

• A pop-up will appear with options available for editing. Displaying labels are unavailable currently.
  • 
• Close the pop-up once completed.
• Click the Update Map button to save your work

Squares and Rectangles

• Click the square icon on the Sketch Widget.
  • 
• Click where you want the shape to appear and drag with left mouse click. Once the shape is the desired size release the left mouse click.
• To edit the shape description, color fill and transparency, collapse the Sketch Widget and click your shape.

• A pop-up will appear with options available for editing. Displaying labels are unavailable currently.
  • 
• Close the pop-up once completed.

Circles

• Click the circle icon on the Sketch Widget.

• Click where you want the shape to appear and drag with left mouse click. Once the shape is the desired size release the left mouse click.
