Learning In A New Era (LIANE)

Learning In A New Era (LIANE): Disruptive Innovation is dramatically changing the way we educate our future leaders.  LIANE identifies and develops ways to include emerging educational technologies to: reduce training costs, reduce training time, optimize throughput (appropriate training, right time, right person), increase content mastery/increase retention of knowledge, facilitate content delivery and ultimately aid in the assessment of capability /compliance with credentialing authorities.  Although LIANE identifies emerging trends in educational technology, the real value is the investment in our faculty and staff, creating a culture of connected Army Educators that share emerging content and learn from one another.  Technologies under investigation include social learning technologies, micro-learning technologies, animation and interactive media, cognitive tutoring and avatars.
