Aloha, APAN Customers!
As the holiday season and end of 2020 approaches, we want to let you know that your APAN team will be completing a few projects on our roadmap. The upgrade to Adobe Connect version 11.05 is at the top of the list. We will perform some maintenance on our infrastructure that may cause intermittent disruption of services 1800-2200 GMT on Friday, 18 December 2020, while the actual Adobe Connect upgrade will happen on Monday, 21 December, 1800-2230 GMT.
If you're curious about new features for the next version of Adobe Connect, feel free to read specifications for end-user computers/devices, details about what's new in version 11, and complete information about new features at https://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-connect/using/what-s-new-in-adobe-connect.html . The 11.05 release notes are also posted here. In addition, your APAN team will post an updated series of Knowledge Base articles to reflect the new capabilities for customers.
Last but not least, a friendly reminder about our "retention" policies. Per the APAN Applications - Generalized Governance for End-Users, sections 6.A.2 & 6.B.5-6, any Adobe Connect room that has not been accessed in the past 2 years will be deleted (including all recordings & content) to conserve storage space and time needed for the upgrade. Community owners should remove links to inactive/deleted rooms from their groups/sites - feel free to create new rooms if needed in the future.
