203.3.3: Wiki Permissions

You can set the permissions for roles on the wiki Manage wiki > Permissions tab.

To set wiki permissions for a role:

  1. Navigate to the wiki.
  2. Mouse over Management.
  3. Click Manage wiki > Permissions.The Permissions tab is displayed.
  4. Click a role to modify, such as Moderators. The role permissions list check boxes appear.
  5. You can search for a permission in the search box, or check the appropriate check box(es) on the list:
    1. Create Comments - Role can create comments on wiki posts.
    2. Create Pages - Role can create new wiki posts.
    3. Delete Comments - Role can delete wiki post comments.
    4. Delete Pages - Role can delete wiki posts.
    5. Edit Comments - Role can edit wiki comments.
    6. Edit Pages - Role can edit wiki posts.
    7. Edit Settings - Role can edit settings for a wiki.
    8. Lock Pages - Role can lock wiki pages.
    9. Move Pages - Role can move wiki pages.
    10. Rate Comments - Role can rate wiki comments.
    11. Rate Pages - Role can rate wiki pages.
    12. Read Content - Role can read wiki content.
  6. Click Save to apply the settings.
