Add Data to a Map

Posting a map to the Map App is one step, but knowing what data you will want to add is another. Within APAN you can either add external or internal data to your map.

• Internal data is dependent on content created within your group. Internal data uses geotagged content within the blogs, forums, wikis and media galleries.
• External data allows you to use third-party data such as ArcGIS Feature Map Service feeds, GeoJSON, GEORSS or KML.
  • Notes: KMZ files will NOT work; KML file size limitations are 10MB.
