Document Library in Telligent Groups

SHAREPOINT FUNCTIONALITY IN TELLIGENT, UNDER APAN OPTIONS, WILL BE DEPRICATED WHEN SHAREPOINT IS UPDATED. 

DO NOT USE SHAREPOINT FUNCTIONALITY WITHIN TELLIGENT. 

IF YOU WANT TO USE A HYBRID APPROACH, CREATE TWO COMMUNITIES 1) TELLIGENT and 2) SHAREPOINT.  These communities will be separate and will function separately.

What's the difference between an APAN document library and media gallery?

Media Gallery = Telligent

Document Library = SharePoint

Document libraries allow a user to sort the files and add specific and/or customized forms when uploading files.

How do I add a document library to my group?

• The SP features are NOT recommended to be utilized within Telligent/Groups moving forward.
• While this feature still works, it will be deprecated in the near future.  
• APAN Recommends using a hybrid approach and having two communities - Telligent AND SharePoint.
• Contact APAN Support for further assistance, as needed.
