The Combustion Chemistry Workshop 2013 will be held at the Basic Research Innovation Collaboration Center (BRICC), 900 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA 22203 in East/West Falls Church Room on the second floor.
The intent of this workshop is for the community to discuss new, alternate approaches to combustion chemistry, including but not limited to pathway centric approaches based on potential energy surfaces, complexity theory, and underlying mathematical, computational and experimental methodologies.
At this workshop, we will also discuss new and usable concepts developed in areas such as computational chemistry, complex systems, biology (protein folding...). In addition, the responsible ARO and AFOSR program officers will present related potential funding opportunities.
The workshop is generally open to researchers in related basic research communities, requires registration at the workshop website. There are also limited presentation slots (no more than 15min each); as such not all those wishing to present may be able to do so. If you wish to make a presentation, please contact Drs. Li and Anthenien indicating your wish to present along with a brief (one paragraph) abstract of your planned presentation. Again, please note that the number presentation slots is quite small and not all presentation requests may be accommodated.
