Driving from Colorado Springs Airport
As you depart the airport, go West on Drennen Road to Powers Boulevard. Head North to Woodmen Road (about 12 miles) then West to Academy Boulevard and then North on I-25 to the North Gate.
Driving from Denver International AirportGo south on Peña Boulevard to I-70. Head west to I-225, then southwest to I-25 and then south to the Academy (Exit 156).
If you travel to the Academy by car, you will find that entrances are clearly marked.
However, if the member does not have a DoD CAC, they MUST enter through the North Gate. From the South, this is exit 156A on to North Gate Blvd. Academy Boulevard, a major street that dissects Colorado Springs, goes from the eastern and southern part of the city directly to the south entrance of the Academy.
