Updates to APAN Resources

Aloha, APAN Customers

We have recently updated our governance documents, forms, presentations, and other resources available in the publicly accessible APAN Support group. Please take a few minutes to review information and contact us if you have questions or requests for additional training.

Key highlights:

• APAN Help Desk - Support Hotline phone number changed to (808) 472-7855 ... the old number will still work for several months
• Application name change for "APAN Groups" from Telligent to Verint (vendor's name change does not affect any functionality or behavior)
• APAN Capabilities Presentation - includes governance, history, operational overview, use cases, statistics, and POCs
• APAN 101 - Concise Overview 
• Reminders for community owners:
  • Follow recommendations based on APAN Community Owner Guidelines and generalized governance for using APAN applications
  • Every site/group owner, host, or portal manager must have a signed Community Owner Acknowledgement form on file with APAN before being granted elevated permissions
  • Periodically check permissions on groups and sites and make sure information is only accessible to vetted members; limit use of "public" or "anonymous" access
• Keep APAN staff informed of any upcoming exercises, conferences, or other events that require use of the APAN platform so that we can avoid impacting your plans during system maintenance
