Name	Description	Typical Uses
Blog	Short name for weblog. Locations where one or more authors can write commentary on a topic or area of expertise. Readers of the content can typically comments on it.	Personal commentary, description of newsworthy or interesting events, SITREPS, etc.
Calendar	Adding, listing, registering and confirming community events.	Referencing or scheduling community events.
Ideas/Challenge	COMING SOON! Means of creating, voting on, and triaging ideas and solutions.	Crowd=sourcing ideas, solutions, collaboration to issues, hot-topics, etc.
Forum	Discussion and/or question and answer areas with thread starters and replies. Answers to questions can be suggested or verified.	Discussions or Q&A among group members; bug reporting; FAQs
Media Gallery	Collections of files available for download. Viewers of the content can typically comment on it. Includes the ability to add customized files and folders.	Image gallery, video demos, presentations, reporting spreadsheets, etc.
