Featuring Content

Marking a post as featured content is a way to draw users’ attention to it in your group, or application page using the Featured Content Slider widget.

You can mark new pages as featured content, or you can edit pages to select the option check-box.

How do I feature content?

The following procedures show you how to mark content as featured in each application.

Feature a blog post

1. Create or edit the blog post without clicking Save.
2. Click Options.
3. Select Yes for Make post featured option.

Feature a forum post

1. Create or edit the forum post without clicking Post.
2. Click Options.
3. Select the Make post a featured item check box.

Feature a media gallery post

1. Create or edit a media gallery post without clicking Post.
2. Select the Make post a featured item check box.

Feature a wiki post

1. Create or edit a wiki post without clicking Post.
2. Select the Make this page featured check box.
