Create Blog Snippet

Snippets allow you to create links in your blog posts or pages using replacement text for a quick term. For example, you might often refer to a particular resource on the Internet in your blog posts. Rather than typing the resource’s URL each time you use it, you can create a snippet for the URL and let the Verint platform automatically replace the text.

The snippet can only be used in the blog post body, not in the title or in a tag.
  1. Navigate to the blog.
  2. Mouse over Management.
  3. Click Manage blog. The Manage blogpanel appears.
  4. Click Snippets. The Snippets panel appears.
  5. Click New snippet. The Add snippetpanel appears.
  6. Fill in the following fields:
    1. Name - Informal name that will be used in a blog post to call the snippet.
    2. Link URL - If you are substituting a URL for the name, enter it here.
    3. Text - If you are substituting  some text for the name, enter it here.
  7. Click Create snippet.
