The Media gallery setup is now managed in the Manage gallery panel on the media gallery home page.
Navigate to the desired
media gallery.
Mouse over
Management.
Click
Manage gallery.
The
Manage gallery
panel appears.
Click
Gallery Options.
The options appear. (The following screen capture doesn't show the entire panel.)
Fill in the following fields or select from the choices:
Gallery Name
- Name of the media gallery. Choose a short but descriptive name. This is used as the title for the gallery display in the group.
Web address
- Letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores are allowed. (No whitespaces.) If you don't fill in this field, Telligent Community Server will fill in the media gallery name using underscores for spaces.
Description -
The description is displayed below the gallery name. You are not allowed to use HTML markup. A typical use of the gallery description is to elaborate on the gallery name. This setting is optional.
Owners -
Owners of the gallery can post to the gallery without special site permissions.
Group -
Group where the media gallery is located. You can assign it to an existing group or to the site root. A different group is preferred.
Enable Media Gallery -
Media galleries can be disabled by selecting No. The created (but disabled) gallery will still be stored in Community Server, but won't be visible or usable. Select Yes to enable the gallery.
Include files in site map -
Content in this gallery should be indexed in the site map. By default, this is Yes.
View type:
Thumbnail view -
Displays a small view of each media file.
List view -
Displays a list of file names.
File count quota -
The number of files the media gallery can contain. By default, this is unlimited. (The default 0 value in the field indicates this.)
Total storage quota (megabytes) -
Total amount of storage space allowed for the media gallery. By default, this is unlimited. (The default 0 value in the field indicates this.)
